The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, by its resolution of October 28, 2020 No. 1019, amended the Procedure for setting tariffs for services for the use of paid parking lots.
The operator in future will be a legal entity or individual - an entrepreneur who, in accordance with the decision of the village, town, city council organizes and perform activities to ensure parking of vehicles on lots, provides their maintenance, equipment and facilities, provides lots use services and provides accordingly to the TCU payment of a fee for parking lots for vehicles.
According to the Procedure for setting tariffs for services for the use of lots for paid parking of vehicles, tariffs for services are the cost of providing services per one place for paid parking for a certain period of time, taking into account the location, time of use, type of vehicle and categories of persons who allocate vehicles on the lots. Tariffs are set by the local government bodies.
In addition to the loading factor of the lot, the tariff will take into account the factors set by local government bodies to achieve optimal loading of the road network.
The cost of services will be determined in accordance with the tariff for the service set by the local government body. The tariff for the service is calculated based on the amount of the total planned cost of services, planned profit, the amount of taxes and fees (mandatory payments). Also the formula laid out in the new edition, according to which the tariff for services is determined.
