There is probably no enterprise in Ukraine that has never gotten into trouble due to cooperation with a counterparty to which the State Tax Service assigned signs of "riskiness". Until recently, information about the existence of such a status of a taxpayer was closed, and when choosing a counterparty, one had to be guided only by his honest word that he had no problems with the tax system.
Recently, the Tax Service has finished updating the software capabilities of the taxpayer's "Electronic Cabinet" and now, in order to check the reliability of the counterparty, you can ask him to disclose certain tax information.
In particular, you can find out about the presence of blocked tax invoices and their amount, the assignment of signs of risk, the presence of untimely registered tax invoices, the residual value of fixed assets and the list of goods, export/import operations and many other parameters that are important to consider when deciding on cooperation.
You can also request information on the amount of charges to the budget and the existence of a tax debt, since information about debts is not displayed on the website of the tax office from 02/24/2022.
How to get the information contained in tax databases? For this you need:
To your counterparty:
• in the private part of the Electronic Cabinet in the "Consent to transfer information to the counterparty" mode, select the "Consent to transfer information" menu;
• specify the code of the counterparty, determine the type of information, give consent.
You:
• in the "Business partner information" menu, view information or create an extract.
We hope that implementing this really useful functionality will help you protect your business from "risky" connections and unwanted tax consequences. However, if trouble has already occurred, the specialists of Dynasty Law & Investment will be happy to help you resolve the problematic situation.
